Ann, I have section 6 in the Window. Are you still able to PL my offerings?

I had guessed that I would do the whole Spanish American War sequence, and since I haven't been crowded out by clamoring claimers, I've signed up for 7-9.

Thanks, Ed. I hope you like poems about Custer's Last Stand because that is what most of them are!

Take care and enjoy!

Great job, Greg. Section 3 is PL OK! Yeah, well, we've had a lot of rough stuff to record, whether the events or the cultural views of the events at the time of the writing. And that did start in Volume 1, with the Vikings.

Just let me know if you get tempted by President Garfield or Kaiser Wilhelm.

Ann, I've got one too, Section 7 is in the window.

Thank you! If I were to claim another section it would be McKinley. I'm going to hold off for awhile, however. I have some other projects going.

It has been wonderful to be a part of this five- part series.

Take care,

Greg

Thank you Mark! But here's a clarification that will serve you through all your work here. When you use the uploader, you get a blue-text hyperlink showing your section as a url on the Librivox server. What you do is copy that url and paste it here, on the forum, along with the length of the section (see above for a few examples.) That is the way that I, or any prooflistener, will have a link to actually listen.

In this case, as that window is long gone, the procedure would be to upload it again - redundancy does no harm to the process - and when you get the link, share it here, as mentioned. Please ask if further guidance is needed.

I can get the section from my folder, no need to upload again.

ETA: Got it, but I want to make sure that the time duration is correct. Is it 59:37?

Great job on this reading Mark. Only one note for you. Per explanation in the Magic Window, a section over 30 minutes in length should have a 10 second silence at the end. Just tack that on - copy and paste from your longest couple silences - and everything will be fine.

With apologies for reiterating, when you've seen this, look at the last few posts about this and compare to the previous upload posts from others, and you'll get it.

Grab another section if you're still in the mood. If not, thanks again.
