Good job, Jason. There are a few repeats near the end, where you spoke a phrase, then backed up and started the line over.
21:22 'and that half heard s-"
23:05 'that is as'
25:10 'and read its sonored - sonorous'

These should all be able to be fixed by simply deleting the false start.

At the end of the recording (that is under 30 seconds,) there should be 5 seconds of silence. Just find somewhere you have a couple seconds of silence, then paste it a couple times.

Thanks for taking on these long poems - a difficult thing to read - so early in your Librivox activity!

Here is Section 1 reloaded with 10 seconds of silence added to end as requested:

Run time is now 59:43

Thank you for your patience!

Here is the corrected file for chapter 2; I didn't realize how easy it was to remove those false starts.

Thank you Mark. No patience required! It's all gone well. PL OK!

And thank you, Jason. I certainly remember being endlessly dumbfounded by the software at the beginning. Now it's second nature. PL OK!

Hi Amie, welcome to Librivox. You have just one gate to pass through before claiming a section. Scroll around the Librivox Wiki - linked to at the top of the page - but in particular, make sure to see the section on the 1 minute test: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Upload the test and someone will check it, and we'll know you've got the basic tech in place. After it's been approved, head back here, let me know, and I'll assign the section to you.

Thanks for your interest!

After some trial and error, I think I have finally figured it out. I submitted my test to the Editors and listeners Wanted forum, but I also included it below:

Thank you

Thanks again, Aime. I'm not one of those test checkers, so just give me the word when you've gotten your OK. I might not be aware of it, otherwise.

I would be interested in Section 4. (It'll give me some new material to "enrich my students learning experience ;)"

If Section 5 remains unclaimed (I know someone else is interested-but I do not want to 'run ahead of' anyone, I would be interested in it as well.)

Many thanks

Philip
