Hi,

I've just uploaded Chapter15 - A Final Test.

I got this one edited and exported before I saw the comments on my last chapter, so it ends with "End of Chapter" rather than "End of Chapter 15." But if that's OK I'll leave it as it is. I should be able to fix that on my next 3 chapters (which I've already recorded and just need to edit).

This is a fun book.

I heard two trivial differences between what I heard and the Gutenberg text --
at 3:13
heard: The steering-wheel is a bit loose
text: The steering-wheel is too loose

at 7:59
heard: has entered the device
text: has entered his device

All the technicals -- record levels, background noise, beginning and ending pauses, and the like -- are fine.

Once again I found a couple teeny differences between what I heard and the Gutenberg text:
at 4:00
heard: he went to bed early
text: he went early to bed
at 7:50
heard: convinced him that there was nothing to the assertion.
text: convinced him there was nothing in the assertion.

Your volume, noise reduction and the like are nicely consistent (and correct) from chapter to chapter.

Yeah, I set myself a goal to see if I could record and edit all six of my chapters in one week. Today's the last day, so we'll see if I get the last one done.

miss stav and all -- I've just noticed I marked the wrong chapter with "See PL notes" in the Magic Window. To be clear, chapter 6 "A Bucking Biplane" is fine, chapter 11 "Orissa Resigns" needs several fixes. I've just now fixed the Magic Window.

(I was looking back at checked-in chapters to see how close the book is to the halfway point.)

For test recordings, you can post in the Listeners Wanted forum: viewforum.php?f=21

Or do you mean you had posted it and cannot find the post now?
