A Trace of Memory by Keith Laumer (1925 - 1993).
This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: http://librivox.org/a-trace-of-memory-by-keith-laumer/
Legion was homeless and hungry and looking for a way to get to Miami when he crossed paths with Foster. Foster enlists Legion's aid in dealing with the mysterious light-beings called Hunters who he says have been chasing him, and also in recovering hos lost memories. He possesses a journal with entries dating back centuries which contain the only clues to his identity. Their quest involves Stonehenge, alien space ships, far away planets and unique ways of dealing with age and life's memories. ( Nick Bulka)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/51712
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

OK all done. Slave PLanet has got to Archive https://archive.org/details/slave_planet_1701_librivox but Archive has made some changes which affect us and we are waiting to hear back from them . I don't want to actually put it in the catalogue while there are missing files .

Anne:
I uploaded the files with incorrect filenames (without the "_128kb"). Can you please delete them? Thanks.

Ok
But if it happens again don't worry about re uploading, I can fix them easily automatically in thecataloguing process, and in fact I always do for single author projects, just in case one is wrong (I've beencaught with __128 (2 underscores) and other hard to see variations)
What you need always to tell the MC is if you upload with the wrong section number as that can overwrite the correct file which is definitely a bad thing :D
