COMPLETE: Mabel Ross, The Sewing Girl -jo

I do intend to record this....if my job falls through, in 2018; if I get the job, in 2019. Either way, my recording equipment and space will have changed (I am moving in a few month) so I won’t use the files. However, I still think archiving might be better than deleting. If for some reason, I DON’T come back to the project there will be a head start on the group project if someone runs it.

Just to let you know, I have started recording this again. It may be a while before I can upload files (my husband does my mastering and he is a bit behind) but I am working on it.

I have uploaded 0-4 of Mabel Ross. 0-2 are redone files so although PL’d before these should be listened to again. I changed my recording space so redid the files.

0-2 PL OK.

In the MW the last two files (03 and 04) have "128kbs" in the file name. It should be "128kb" as it is in the first three files (00, 01 and 02).

Huh. That’s really weird because I did a batch rename. Anyway, will fix t’row.

So, I checked my files and all of mine have Kbs at the end (wrong - should be kb) - in other words they are consistent. If you look a post or two above, the links to the files I uploaded have Kbs as well.

I used those links to populate the MW by cutting and pasting the link in edit mode for the first 3 files BUT I don't think it took. The times are off for those files and when I just listened, I am pretty sure they are the earlier files.

I am going to rename all 5 files and reupload all 5.

Happy to announce I have finished recording!

Just uploaded 5-8 and updated the magic window.

Do I need to include the links/times in a forum post or is it enough that I have them in the magic window?

In the MW is enough, though some folks ask for both. I always use the one in the MW as that is the one that will be used in cataloguing.
