I'm glad - thank you again for the quick PL. Sorry it is taking me awhile to get files up. My husband does my mastering and he isn't loving Mabel so it tends to not be high on his to-do list.

I find the frequent mention of Polk Street interesting as years after this novel was written it became the site of Hull House (at the corner of Polk and Halstead streets). It is a very famous settlement house started by Jane Adams. The first American woman to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
