Awesome, thank you!

Tricia, these files are named 7 and 8 and I think they need to be 07 and 08 to sort properly since we have a section 10. Is that something that can be changed at catalog time, or should I ask the reader to rename and reupload?

They can be easily fixed at cataloging time. :) Just make sure the URL in the Magic Window points to the file, and we'll be OK.

Arielle,
Your MW is getting a little full and I have some time so I'll PL the Seven Sisters since that was submitted first. Please note there is a problem with 7 in the MW. It was trying to download as a html. I picked it up from the thread and all is well with the file.

Twolcott,
You did a great job! There are a few corrections I’ve noted. Please let me know if you have questions on how to make the corrections.

PL notes for Section 7
Please limit the opening silence to less than 1 second.

Intro is missing. Please include:
• "Section 7 of The Princess Pourquoi. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
• If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
• Say:
"The Princess Pourquoi, by Margaret Pollock Sherwood. Section 7, The Seven Studious Sisters, Part 1"

13:43 – 14:11 Repeat - Now behold! within the great hall the King was already waiting in a chair of state under a velvet canopy, and My Lord Rector and the philosophers of the new faculty bowed low to him as they entered.

20:32 something had happened to him that neither his experience as Sir Fool nor as Lord Rector had prepared him to understand.
Read as or

End of section 7 should be End of chapter 4, part 1.

Please trim the ending silence to 5 seconds. Also, you have a click at the end where the record was turned off that you might want to delete.

PL notes for Section 8
Please trim opening silence to less than 1 second.

0:20 missing text from intro: "The Princess Pourquoi, by Margaret Pollock Sherwood. Section 8, The Seven Studious Sisters, Part 2"

5:51 Missing text - All the time My Lord Rector's conscience pricked him more and more, until he could no longer bear it, and one day, coming upon Clementine where she passed the path by the rippling river, near three willow trees that were freshly leaved out, for it was spring, he told her the tale of how he and the King had deceived womankind, and, with torture of spirit, confessed himself the King's Fool.

End of section 8 should be End of chapter 4.

Please trim the ending silence to 5 seconds.

When you upload your revision please correct the file name.

PL notes for section 3
"The Princess Pourquoi, by Margaret Pollock Sherwood. Section 3, The Clever Necromancer, Part 1, "
Read as the example The Princess Pourquoi

2:21 stumble - slender maidens, maidens with white arms, maidens with blue eyes, brown eyes, or gray

4:15 giving hollyhock or rose for toll to the porter, who would not say them nay because of their skinny arms and hungry faces.
I hear tall https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/toll

13:36 please delete background noise in pause.

End of part one should be end of chapter 2, part 1.

Please extend the ending silence to 5 seconds.

Your volume is too low at 85.6dB. We aim for 89dB but anything between 86-92dB is allowed. Since your next section is at 86.4dB just amplify this section as much as you can and you will be in range.

After you amplify, please noise clean.

PL notes for section 4
PL ok! Nice work. :D

Linny, thanks for the detailed PL! I am not sure what's wrong with section 7 in the MW - the link looks the same as section 8 so I'm not sure how to fix it.

That's odd. I just tried again and my system defaulted to try and download as html again. I don't know, computers boggle me sometimes.
