this post saying that end silences can now be 5 seconds. As such, I have edited the first post, and will use five seconds for all my files.
Go ahead and do that - I will be adding it to all
new projects. That said, although it was discussed in December (by admins), the wheels move very slowly and there has been no 'global announcement'.
The change in policy is to reflect the advances in listening technology (some old systems would cut off too early, apparently)

1 PL OK.
It makes the listening even more fun if I catch an occasional mistake.

I've made notes for the first six chapters, and that one was by far the longest (I've already shown my notes for just this chapter). So much Latin...
Though in saying that, Chapter 4 has a long extract of Latin text,
Ipse capaces
Heliadum crustas et inæquales beryllo
Virro tenet phialas: tibi non committitur aurum;
Vel, si quando datur, custos affixus ibidem,
Qui numeret gemmas unguesque observet acutos,
so I'm not necessarily over the worst of it.

2 PL OK.
Sounds (to my untrained in Latin ear) great.

Monthly update:
Haven't given up yet, but it might be at least another week before I record again.

We're at a month since the last post again...
I'm sorry this is taking so long, I clearly have less free time than I realised when I started this.
