Welcome to LibriVox and to this wonderful project ! I happily assign those four sections to you. Please feel free to ask if anything is unclear and claim more sections if you wish.

EDIT: I forgot to ask how you would like to be credited in our catalog. A lot of us use our real names so that our friends can find us, but it is up to you. And you can just use your forum name (MRosswurn) if you wish.

EDIT #2: Note that I have assigned you sections 8, 18, 50 and 114 which corresponds to the chapters you requested. We standardize things by claiming sections to keep things neat and understandable. These numbers will be how you label the MP3 files when you export them.

Hello! I'd like to claim sections 12 - 16 (Sin, death, judgement, hell, and paradise).

I want to note that this project has no Dedicated Proof Listener (DPL) so it may be awhile until your recording will be listened to.

Until one shows u, if anyone has some extra time and would like to just Proof Listen a section or two, just post a note in this thread about which section(s) and that will be fine.

1. Please credit me as Michael Rosswurm. Thanks!

2. I'll be sure to identify my claims with section numbers from now on. It was my intention to claim sections 8, 19, 92, and 114 (maybe I wrote the wrong part/chapter #s), but if it's a hassle to switch to those sections then I'll happily do the ones I've been assigned.

Thanks!

No problem at all, I will switch them a bit later tonight. Yeah, with the huge variety of books, parts, chapters, etc. in the things we record we found it best to identify the parts by 'sections'. And Your catalog name will be as you wish Michael.

EDIT: OK, sections 8, 19, 92 and 114 are assigned to you. If you decide to change 'em or want more just ask. (working on my humility here)Image

I would Like to request section 20. This is my first project so I am starting slow. I may come back to read more sections once I get a little more confident in the process.

Welcome to the recording side of LibriVox Cameopro77. :D I have assigned that section to you but before you record it, please make and upload a 1 minute test to be sure your recording set up is OK. Instructions can be found in our Wiki and in the first post of this project but Here is a video that may help too: How to Make your 1 minute test.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlaRY_-bcfs and then How to Upload your 1 minute test How to Upload your 1 minute test
(These videos were designed for people with no background in recording so they may be boring to you!!)

(You may post the link to your test in this project thread and I will see it much more quickly)

I also recommend Getting To Know our Forums Getting To Know Our Forums

We just want to check out your technical specs. Don't forget to post the link either in this thread or in Listeners WAnted forum. And how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us use our real name but it is up to you.

Since you know your way around recording tracks, just remember to use the specs we like: 128kbs, 44.1, etc. and ask if anything is unclear.

Here is my one minute test. Let me know if you have any feedback. I can be credited as Nathan Cameron.
