I'm very sorry about the long delay, things have been a little rough lately, but I'm back now :?

Here is section 31, ready for PL, the remaining sections should follow soon.

Hi and welcome to Librivox! :D

You are welcome to read that section. To be able to sign you up, i need to know under which name or pseudonym you would like to appear in the catalog. We can also link to your personal website or blog.

Please also complete the test recording before getting started! Thank you!

Well done in section 16, Oliver!  Kudos for tackling something like this as your first recording, this is not a short, easy read :D

I have some PL notes for you. I recommend to edit out the extra words first, starting from the back (that way the time stamps will be correct).
00:00 - introdution - I hear "Chapter 3 of After Dark" -- it should be "Section 16 of After Dark"
00:19 - it should be "The French Governess's Story of SIster Rose, Part Second, Chpter 3, Part 1" (read everything in the "title" field in the Magic Window)
3:05 - stumble - and harkey... harkye my friend"
3:38 - pause in the middle of a work - "how have you got your bat...ch huddled up"
5:09 - hesitation, stumble - "but the head jailer hospitably ...exp... expostulated"
7:49 - false starts - "BY that means you may incap incu inculpate"
12:03 - repeat - "How fast she heard... How fast she heard his heart"
14:08 - extra word, I hear "I admit that I should not be guilty" -- it should be "I admit that I should be guilty"
15:31 - repeat - "but could he not... he could not"
16:47 - please include the outro "End of section 16"

Have you figured out how to edit in Audacity yet? :) If this will be your first go, I recommend watching Phil's videos, for instance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLdJsoGQc9c. And please don’t despair! I find that when I get to a word or sentence that comes out wrong, editing is easier if I read that whole sentence or sentence fragment again. Some people “mark” things they will want to edit out by clapping or making a clicking mouth sound (that makes it easier to find it, for editing). Anyway, I think we all have different methods, and you will find what is easier for you.

Please edit the recording, save it with the same filename, upload and post again in the thread, so that I can listen again. I look forward to hearing you again!
