Okay, great! Well, here's Chapter 22 - and I did proof my text against the Archive.org version, so it should be correct - if not, let me know! thanks! 8-)

Will wait till you've PL'd these before I do any more, just in case there are any issues with the text. Thanks! 8-)

Thanks! Will have to wait a few days to claim/record more as I'm having problems with my microphone, but hubby promises to fix it over the weekend. :-)

Are readers supposed to say things like "(See figure A on page __)" or "(See pictures opposite page __)," or just skip on past those?

edit:
Example, on page 95
"...and sew or overhand it together from a to b to form top of cap. (See figure A on page 94)."

It would be odd to say 'from a to b' without an indication of what a and b are.

My instinct is to say no, since we don't read illustration captions and I'd put that kind of parenthetical in that category. I'm certainly not married to that position, though, if anyone feels strongly the other way.

In some of the "Cuts" I read ("Cut 1", "Cut 2", etc.) the text refers directly to a photograph. I did read those. But I wouldn't read just the description of the photo if it's in parentheses or brackets, off by itself. Just my two cents. 8-)

Here are Sections 12 through 14:

https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/maryfrancesknittingandcrochetingbook_13_fryer_128kb.mp3 (3:48)
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/maryfrancesknittingandcrochetingbook_14_fryer_128kb.mp3 (8:56)

I'm afraid I read the "See page..." sentences; I hadn't read where Christine asked about that. I hope this is okay, but please tell me if you want that part cut out.

Thanks so much, Twinkle! Don't worry about the 'see page' thing - I don't think it's a big deal at all.

I don't know how full this project was before yesterday, but if anyone had claimed a section but do not see their name in the MW, please let us know. Then we can get your section reassigned to you again. Also, if you had sent in any sections, and those are not in the MW, please upload them again. Thank you! :D

Also, 12-14 were PL OK.
