Hi Emma,

Here are your notes:

0:00: I think you need a little silence at the start. About half a second should do.
6:19: Between '...almost a stranger.' and 'But it is...' you're missing 'I suppose this is considered a "bold" scene.'
7:54: 'Then Carlotta hears of Diaz and his morphinomania' is said twice.
10:06: 'subletics' should be 'subtleties' (e's and c's look almost identical with this scan quality...)

Oh, and while you're at it, the filename isn't quite right. You're missing the 'kb' at the end.

Hi! Here's section 43, Futurist Dancing
runtime 9:37.

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/pasticheandprejudice_43_walkley_128kb.mp3

My apologies if this is a double-post. I thought I had posted this a couple days ago, but I don't see it, so must not have hit "submit". I had to re-upload the file, so hopefully this does not cause problems.

Also -- I have a question about section 50 -- Versatility.

There are two references to the abbreviation "d." as a form of currency. Do I just pronounce that as "d.", like the letter?

The text is:
"Now that the Literary Supplement costs 6d."
and
"Even when it cost 3d."

Advice/guidance?

Thanks!

Sherry

Hi Sherry,
Firstly, the recording is PL OK!

As your 'd' question, it's how pence used to be shown before Britain decimalized its currency. As such, read 'd' as 'pence'.

Hi Philip,

Try to make sure you include the recording length when you post it.

Here are your notes:

4:56-5:02: There is a failed take that has been left in.
5:22-5:24: There is a failed take that has been left in.
5:48-5:50: There is a failed take that has been left in.
