[Complete]Lotus Buds by Amy Carmichael - dlo
AliceJane,
I moved you 1 minute test post over the proper forum for that; you can find your post here ->> viewtopic.php?t=62695
From a quick glance at the file it was very good. I would only request a bit reduction in the background noise, but please let someone more practiced at reviewing the test do a review on it.
It you posted in this topic to claim a section to read here, please return and claim a section once your 1-minute is checked.
David O
P.S. Section which you read the start of is unclaimed.

Thanks so much! Before you record those chapters, could you do your one-minute-test? That's just to make sure your technical settings are correct. Also, what name would you like to be credited under in the catalog? It can be your real name, a nickname, a pseudonym...I can also link to a personal URL.
Thanks and welcome to Librivox!

David:
Due to the server/software issues I had to rejoin LibriVox, but now I have now completed my one-minute test and had it approved. I'd like to read section seven of Lotus Buds. Are there any other steps to take before beginning?
Thanks,
AliceJane

AliceJane,
You are doing the right things. You can begin recording section 7 as it is currently showing unclaimed in the MW. The BC, Adele, normally keeps the MW up to date, but I can assign the section to you.

Please let me know if you want your display name changed.

Hello,
I'm really sorry to have to do this, but I'm going to have to relinquish my section. My hematologist has tentatively diagnosed me with an ankle bleed and tendonitis of the wrist, which will take several weeks to heal and which make recording, reading the Braille chapters,, typing, and editing projects very difficult. I hope to come back to LV when I'm recovered. Thanks for understanding.

I just finished editing Chapter 11. I think this is my next step. Please let me know if I need to do anything additional/different.

I've marked section 11 PL OK although there aren't quite five seconds of silence at the end. I count four. I don't know how serious that is. It might be a good thing if you add one more second there.
