Otherwise no problems.

Thank you Gill. However, this project has a DPL (Dedicated Proof Listener) who listens to all the sections.GillH wrote:I'll PL Part 9.
If you are looking to proof listen something, concentrate on projects with a tilde (~) in the title. That is LV shorthand to say there is no DPL. You can find them in any forum, but the best places to look are "Listeners and Editors Wanted" (where projects are in progress -- or even completed and either never had a DPL, or the DPL has had to pull out) and "Launch Pad", where new projects start out and are usually in need of a DPL.

This kind of error is insignificant -- it doesn't greatly change the meaning. The only way you would know about this is if you were reading along, which we don't do when doing a standard PL. (It's different if a BC asks for "Word Perfect")GillH wrote:Part 9 PL:

Have you looked at the quiz? It covers things like this. http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/ProofListening_tips_and_quiz
As I will be on vacation for ten days starting this Friday 8/4 I have asked DrPGould (Philip) to fill in as PL. He will be taking some time off of recording for a while and has graciously decided to help me out. I am grateful for that. He has PL experience so I trust that things will move along just fine. If he stops in to have a listen, please thank him for his help. If you would rather wait until my return, that is fine, just let Philip know before he begins listening. If any sections were read by him, I will try to PL them before I leave. Thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding.

Lynne:
With your permission, Anthony has asked me to fill in for him on this board and also on the Mutiny/Murder board.
I have PL'd Section 8 (and rechecked Section 9 at his request) and they are both PL-OK.
If I have overstepped my bounds, please advise.
Many thanks,
Philip

Yes, whenever you're ready. And it will be good to have you back on that side of the micDrPGould wrote:Lynne:
May I claim Section 2? (It will be about a week before I can actually read it, but my silence is ending!)
Many thanks,
