thank you both!

yes, rodd relied very much on oscar wilde to get his poems published and noticed, and then he dropped wilde like a hot potato when a few years later the scandal came on. very much to his discredit. i might put this into the summary, but i didnt want to throw off readers and listeners, since you might not prefer to read poetry if the summary already tells you that the writer is someone you wouldnt like to be friends with...

I agree, that was a mean character trait of his. But well, one can appreciate the poetry even without liking the author's character.

LOL thanks for the encouragment. Well, I could of course claim them all in one go, but I know that would not be fair to the others. So I'll restrain myself to 3 at the time, and see how long my luck holds. It's quite cool to see how far I can make it
