Actually, having listened to a few older ones, the problem is there. I just became aware of it. Keenly aware of it.

Sir, should the outline of the chapter be read before the chapter begins :?: It has been included in chapter 12 but not in chapters 1-3. Apart from this, chapter 2 and 12 are PL OK.

Either way is fine. I should have cleared that up in the first post but as it stands now, the reader has the choice of including the outline or not at the beginning.

If it is alright, I will take "Chapter V: Causes of Lincoln’s Nomination to the Presidency." It is listed as Section 5.

Hi and welcome to LibriVox. You are assigned that section (5) but before recording it please work with Tony to get your 1 minute test OK. As soon as that happens, just post a note in this project thread and start recording. Please ask if you have any questions at all.

Here is a little video I made that explains our forums and how they work; it may explain stuff better than I can http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnxpcbnEjoQ&feature=youtu.be

Hello. I've uploaded the chapter I chose. I previously uploaded the same file, but please use this more recent file (I did not reduce noise or set it as mono in the previous file). Its length is 14:40. Thank you!

Thanks Clowd79. I presume you got the OK to record from your 1 minute test, so I will put this into the magic window for our proof listener to check out. If there is anything to fix they will post the information in this thread. Please use the exact same file name if you do need to fix something and upload again; this way it will replace the erroneous file. Again, please ask if anything is confusing.

Hi Phil,

I was too eager to start, so I did not wait for approval on my test to begin recording. This is why I had to update my chapter five recording. When I did receive feedback on my test this morning, I applied the advice I received to the chapter five file and uploaded the updated chapter five file to you. Also, I just checked for feedback after submitting again in the Listeners Wanted forum, and was given approval. I hope this is alright.

Thanks,

Tony
