Chapter 8 is uploaded -

Availle, I have decided not to record section 9 where the unfinished stanzas should be as compliment material to the main text - could you please delete it from the MW.

I also would like to make a cover by myself.

I know this has been dragging on for a while and you're probably happy to see it done, but one of our rules is to "read the text as written". So, not speaking Russian myself, I cannot say if section 9 is part of the text or just like an appendix...

I'll put that in front of my admin colleagues to see what they say about you leaving it out.

In the meanwhile, I'll claim that cover for you!
Cheers, Ava.

Thank you.
But 9th part deffinetely could be omitted, because the classic novel in verse has 8 chapters, and it was only my good will to read as well an addition. But now I do not want to spoil the complete poem with the fragments, espetially when they do not go in the right order.

You could find the story on the 9th cahpter in Wikipedia:
Pushkin intended to write a chapter called "Onegin's Journey", which occurred between the events of chapters 7 and 8, and in fact was supposed to be the eighth chapter. Fragments of this incomplete chapter were published, in the same way that parts of each chapter had been published in magazines before each chapter was first published in its first separate edition. When Pushkin first completed chapter 8 he published it as the final chapter and included within its denouement the line nine cantos I have written still intending to complete this missing chapter. When Pushkin finally decided to abandon this chapter he removed parts of the ending to fit with the change.

Usually, this chapter is in the book as compliment, and sometimes even omitted, especially in the school editions and translations. E. g. see this English text contents - http://lib.ru/LITRA/PUSHKIN/ENGLISH/onegin_j.txt_with-big-pictures.html#13

Thank you for elaborating on your choice!

I have talked to my admin colleages and, of course, I got different opinions. One of them said if that was her project, she would include the unfinished stanzas "for scholarly reasons". Something I can definitely agree with.

So, what about a compromise - you don't read section 9, but you mention in the summary that those stanzas are included at the end of this edition of the text if somebody's interested in them (or something like that).

And then we're done (except for PLing, that is...)
Cheers, Ava.

Sec.8 at 11:10 Вы Ева произнесли как "Эва" -- ничего страшного, оставьте если это Вас не коробит.
Great job, congratulations!
