Chapter 1 ready for review

Also, btw - I am going to New Zealand next week so will unlikely be able to get any recordings done until week after.

Chapter 4 uploaded - https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/oldnewzealand_04_maning_128kb.mp3. Recording length 4.13.

Sorry I didn't realise that I hadn't finished recording chapter 3. Unfortunately I live in a noisy house and the only time I can record is early in the morning before traffic gets continuous so I will find time to complete chapter 3 sometime this week.

Re external noise - have you tried a few basic things to reduce it? Like making sure the microphone is between you and the window/s so it picks up less traffic , or trying a box with some cushions to cut down unwanted sounds or if you have some way of recording without the computer just editing on the computer. Traffic is hard to remove from the recording because it's inconsistent but some lateral thinking might come up with something.

Well the worst traffic noise in a reader I PLed , I thought they must be recording at Albert Park during the grand prix, but it turned out she lived in a flat facing the busiest intersection in the large South American city she had moved to, and one side wall was shared withthe ramps for a 24 hour multistoried carpark.
Sh decided to wait till she returned home :D
