I'm going to be taking care of this for Ruth, so if there are any questions, send them my way! :D

Hello,

I would like to do sections 6 and 7 - The Peacock Butterflies and Mr. Fox Cuts the Cottontails. Both are from
Sandman's Goodnight Stories at project Gutenberg.

Thanks,
voicelady

Hi Voicelady,

In short works collections like this, there is no need to pre-claim section! When you are ready to submit your recordings, just follow the directions in point 4 in the first post:
4. POST the following information in this thread:

• The link you copied from the uploader to your file
• Name of your story
• Author (birth year - death year)
• Translator if applicable (birth year - death year)
• Source from which you read (i.e. Gutenberg etext url)
• Length in minutes and size in MB of your file
Thanks! Look forward to your submissions!

Hello. As you may have seen me mention in another thread, this is a recording I made for The Upward Path (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=60867) that I never used. Please let me know if this is an appropriate place or if I need to make any changes. Thanks.

Hi,

I am new here and was wondering if I can just record a story of my choose or whether I need to claim a story before recording it?

Cheers,
J

Hi,

Welcome to Librivox! Yes, you are correct, there is no need to claim ahead of time in this particular project. Just as long as you are certain it is public domain, go ahead and start recording! If you are uncertain of it's PD status, just ask here first and I will try to help you. Most (but not all) things on Project Gutenberg are PD.

Please do a 1 minute test before recording your story just to make sure your tech specs are okay! http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Have fun!
Maria
