Here is the recording for the prologue. I'm a bit confused about the sections and I'm pretty sure I have not named the file properly.
I wanted to just get the first section to you in case I was not reading it in the way you want it read. I am very happy to start from the beginning if you have some different ideas.

wonderful job! you sound great.

just one little PL note:

for Florizel, at 0:52 I hear "Predita" instead of the printed "Perdita."

Craig, your Caliban sounds fantastic! thank you. I can never do such good character voices.

I think the filename just needs to be caliban_caliban_p.mp3, but from what I understand that is easy to change on the coordinator end of things.

there is just one PL note for Caliban, Prologue:

at 3:05 there is a missing set of lines from middle of page 12 of the PDF:
"Free, saith? Will dance by yellow sands? Now, Spirit, dance!"

other than that, it's fabulous. :)

I don't change file names for parts of Plays/Dramatic Readings. I think it's fine if Craig uses "prologue" for this file . . . it's descriptive. The key is that the editor can tell what act of the play this part file relates to.

I uploaded the wrong file three times and deleted it. Fourth time a charm?

(If it's again the wrong one, I give up! Help!!!)

EDIT: IT IS THE WRONG ONE, AGAIN! I don't understand how it is possible, since I deleted the old file and have the right one only now.

Plaidsicle,

Here's an attempt at my lines. Some of which are , well , quite odd . . .

I opted to say all the parts, even when it's indicated to be sung, because I'm not that great of a singer without a melody to work from.

I did try singing the gregorian chant - happy to read that if you think better, but I at least have some history chanting, so could try that one with some chance that it wouldn't sound totally awful!

I spot-checked this one and it sounds fixed to me! maybe your browser had the old one cached and wouldn't redirect to the new URL. that has happened to me before.

MaryAnn
prologue and Act I are PL okay. the chanting was gorgeous!

perhaps an optional edit: in Act II, 0:25, an extra word. the text has "clasp hands" but you read "clasp their hands," which wouldn't matter at all for meaning... but the next stanza there ends the same, and for that one you did read just "clasp hands" as written. I'm thinking if it isn't too much trouble, it would be nice if they matched.

Act III and the epilogue are also PL okay.

and I keep forgetting to ask, MaryAnne-- would you be able to PL my narrator's sections for this? no rush of course. I am not even done recording them yet.

Thanks. I'll get that change made. It will be nice if they match. Hopefully I can do it with a copy and paste or a clip so that it's not a different sound.

And I'd be happy to PL your sections. Lot of narrator/stage direction lines in this play!

thank you! it sounds great. just one PL note:

at 6:11 you say "bowels" (which is almost what I expected from the context there...) but the text has "your wreathed bowls"
