That section is all yours. I am not sure what 'co-ed' means in this context but it seems assumed to be something well known. I suggest reading it as it looks 'co-ed'. The rest look fine; have fun!!KirstenNelson wrote:Could I claim section 5, please?
The word "Co-ed" looks a little out of place; I assume it's an Anglicization of a place name? I assume Gwri = "gree", Dyfed = "dih-ved" (with a short i), Pryderi = "prih-der-ee", and I'm not too sure about "Kieva", but I will try something and we will see how it goes!

Sorry to see this late.KirstenNelson wrote: The word "Co-ed" looks a little out of place; I assume it's an Anglicization of a place name? In the context, he's comparing how American's say co-ed (the usual way) to how he would pronounce Betws-y-Coed (misspelt in the text), which is a beautiful little town, pronounced bett-oos uh c-oi-d (oi as in oil). It's less of the Anglicised place name (which isn't Anglicised at all here, we seem to force the english to manage ) but an American mispronunciation.
I'd pronounce gwri as two syllables - goo-ri, but said quickly it does sound a lot like gree! Dyfed is more duh-ved than dih-ved, but it's understandable both ways and how you've separated pryderi makes me think you're Welsh Kieva is the Anglicised Cigfa, so I'd suggest it be pronounced Kee-vah. Hope this helps!

2, 3 and 21 are PL OK!
I do really like these stories. They're like the Chinese Whispers version of Welsh history and folklore. It's brilliant! I have a funny feeling that whenever the author didn't know something about the Welsh, he just made it up and hoped no one would notice
