The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain (1835 - 1910).

This book which I recorded from the sheer joy of it, is now in our catalog at http://librivox.org/the-adventures-of-huckleberry-finn-version-6-by-mark-twain/
Follow the young boy Huckleberry Finn and the slave Jim on their epic journey down the Mississippi River in the years before the Civil War. This masterpiece by Mark Twain is a delightful mixture of exciting adventures, sad mishaps, floods, lazy days floating on the raft, conniving con men and human beings in their most bewildering variety. It is a great pleasure to read and listen to. (by Phil Chenevert )
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/76
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

Certainly! And I will be very slow in recording because this is a long time desire of mine also; to record this book. I feel that if I start now at the age of 74, I may finish before I'm 80 !! Thank you and it will be fun.

I broke the record of slow dpling. But Chapters 1 and 2 are great. I really enjoy your reading. But please put the duration of eachh chapter in the mw. I have to know how much time to dedicate to each, and plann accordingly.

Ha Ha Ha. That is funny because I have broken my own record for slow recording. I will definitely try to remember to put the time in the magic window. Hope you are doing well in school and enjoying life.

Yes, it is nice. One of my obligations has been postponed for several weeks and so I have the time to read this amazing book. I plan to get as much done as possible work takes me away.
