Hello, Adele! I managed to proof-listen the complete chapters and we are PL OK for chapters 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 11. MW is updated.

and one PL note for Chapter 4: Around 3:44, phrase missing here in bold, if you think it's important to be added "During his residence at Alcala he fought three duels". If it's OK as is, please then mark it PL OK in the MW :)

I just realized that Fray Fernando is actually missing a line in Chapter 15:
"What do you think, señor?"
If you could just record that and put it in a file called something like frayfernando_missingline that would be great!
Thanks! :)

Sorry about that.

I don't know the context, so I've provided three different versions so you can choose which ever one seems to fit the dialogue.

We used to practice with the sentence, "I like red apples" in speech class to see how many meanings and nuances we could give it. Lot's of fun. :)

Please let me know if you would like any help editing or PLing for this project. Initial post looks as if you have everthing set, but figured I’d volunteer to help out if you need it.

Be well,
Linny

As far as proof-listening is concerned, for which I had volunteered, since I don't have it high on my librivox priorities, feel free to do any ready chapters. But otherwise, there's no hurry, that's why I'm also procrastinating
Adele will let you know if she needs help with editing.

Sounds good. I have a couple of chapters to edit for another project tomorrow but I can start PLing after that.

Chapter 13
2:30 Juan’s lines are much louder than the narration. I was reading along and didn’t notice the wave change visually. When I heard them, I actually jumped.

Chapter 14
Volume is too high at 94.8dB
You might consider compression or leveling as an option when lowering the volume as some of the character lines are already much softer than the narration and may become too low to hear; e.g. 3:00

Chapter 15
Volume is too high at 95.0dB
Please amplify the opening “Chapter 15” before lowering the overall volume.

Chapter 16
2:42 - He was not much changed by his campaign, except that his dark cheek wore a deeper bronze, and his face was adorned with a formidable pair of bigotes.
These words are too low to hear, please amplify.

I'm not sure if the accent is consistent or not, but it's better than my first couple of attempts... :D
