Hello,

This will be my first recording. I am interested in doing a recording for

Section 4
Title - Ch2: A Survey of Modern Education Part 2
- p 50 "Positive science makes its appearance in the schools" - p 67, 4,600 words

My test recording has been approved.

Do let me know if I should start.

I'm happy to appear as Michelle in the librivox catalog as of now.
Thanks

I'm interested in narrating/recording Chapter 2, part 2. Is it still available?
Thanks, Lisa

Hi Michelle,
Welcome to Librivox and thank you for popping by this piece.
You can start recording. If you want to split the section into 2 chunks and have the first part PL'd while you're recording the 2nd you can. It is easy to merge 2 files back together after.
Regards
Kim

Hello and welcome to LV. There seems to be a run on s4 at the moment! Probably because it is shorter.
I am happy for you to select another section and record it in smaller chunks (around 2,000 words) for checking and then the files can be edited together once you've finished all the bits.
Let me know if you'd like to do it this way for another section.
Regards
Kim

I really get a lot out of her writing, she has such a comprehensive grasp of things. Even though this took forever for me to edit, I never got bored. Thanks for resurrecting her work.

Could I do Section 5? My test recording was approved and I've done a short chapter of another book. This will be my third recording.

Thanks.

Glad you enjoyed it. Would've been a slog if you didn't.
Can I interest you in the last part of chapter 9?

I would like to do that last section, but I have a couple other recordings due first, if that's okay, I hope it won't take nearly so long this time.

Thank you and no problem. It'll be nice to finish, but as you can see... slowly does it :)

Wow! I have a page. That's great.

Could you please tell me what I should do about the charts and graphs in my chapter? I looked around librivox and could not find an answer. Do I just ignore them?

Thanks.
