possibly we should add the "ignore footnotes" info to the first post, also. that will help avoid anything like this in the future!

It's no trouble to make those cuts to remove the footnotes.

Also, we were thinking along the same lines in that this info should be in the top post. I definitely think it belongs there.

I was just so focused on "read everything" that I didn't even think about not including them. Now it seems only logical that end users/listeners don't want to listen to a footnote full of Latin and other unintelligible stuff.

Newbie brains are sometimes mush.

Thank you for getting back to me.

Footnotes notice added to first post.

Sylvia, just re-upload the edited files with the same file names and they will over-write the originals. Just remember to post here when you've done that.

And here are 3 new sections

section 34 - PL okay! very well read. :)

I noticed that you included the "Read by Sylvia..." bit at the beginning intro and the end outro. I usually only do one or the other for reader's credit, but I don't know if there is any real policy or if it matters either way -- it probably doesn't! but it did stand out so I figured I would mention it and discuss if needed.

No, it doesn't matter -- reader's choice.

Okay, I'm having trouble with the uploader. I use Firefox, and it recommends I try another browser. I tried microsoft edge. That didn't work either.

It can't find the file that has the MP3 versions of the audio file, although audacity makes them and I see them in the file tree.

It certainly was working before with Firefox. What can I do?

sometimes I've had to restart my browser, or wait a few minutes before I try again. if it was working at one time with Firefox, it should work again. eventually.

Update on the uploader. I got it to find the correct file for the MP3 exports, but it still brings to the upload page the files that you saw in my post. They don't start with HTTP.

Am I taking up your time when I should be posting somewhere else about this problem?

Okay, I not only restarted the browser, I rebooted the computer. No change.
