Hello,
I am new to Librivox. Here is my test: https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_songstress4life2.mp3

Once approved, I would be interested in recording a chapter, no preference on which.

For my name, please use Kymberli Welch.

Hi flovett! This is Phil and I am going to help you get started recording. I listened to your test and you have a nice voice and your recording technical stuff is fine, the only problem seems to be that background noise and perhaps a bit of low volume. I am going to ask you to record chapter 2 as you wished, send it in as usual, post the link here as usual and if it still needs a bit of noise reduction and/or volume increase I will make a video showing you how to do it using your file as an example.

Let's get you started, eh? So record that chapter, it will be fun. and ask if anything is unclear.

Hi Songstress4life and a big welcome to LibriVox. Your test recording is absolutely perfect and you have a lovely voice. Unfortunately all chapters of this book have been claimed already so there is nothing I can assign to you. However there are a lot of books with short sections looking for readers here in our forum viewforum.php?f=19.

I have a project called Evening Incense which is short meditations here viewtopic.php?f=28&t=59527 if you don't mind religious items and it is entirely open.

Let me know if I can help. If any other person asks about your test, tell them that Phil gave you the OK. :D

Chapter 8 has a few easy fixes. It needs to be de-amplified as it is on the loud side, it should be about 89 db and at 10:40 there are some clicks.
