Yes, they do! I don't know if it was just the priests or just the grammar of the times. ;)

Thanks for persevering!

I'm so sorry, but I am going to need an extension to turn in my chapters.

I never really realized my neighborhood was so loud until I actually *listened* hard. Freight trains blocks in every direction and the international airport 7 miles away. I live in the same neighborhood I grew up in, and eventually the background noise almost becomes part of you.

Tonight is finally a perfect night to record: nobody else is home, the cats are fed and drowsy... except the incessant rumble of the idling planes seem particularly loud, AND now rain is smacking the windows. I've even noticed the whistling the laptop fan makes, and how loud I think my fridge is.

The only space without a window big enough to fit in is the closet under the stairs. I'm so ready to burrow in there!

Maybe it is not as loud as I think it is--but I'll keep trying!

Section 20:

6:06 - "and went to Wisconsin" - long pause after this

13:23 - "end footnote" - a slight thump afterward, and a longish pause

13:59 - "hidden in the ground" - long pause after this

approx. 23:04 - the footnote about Lake St. Clair - it might make more sense if you spelled out the difference. It doesn't make any sense just in saying the names. :)
