Stu,

Welcome to Librivox, and welcome to volume 7! You'll find a mix of famous and rather unknown public domain literature as we work through the alphabet.

How would you like to appear in the catalog? We can use your real name, your catalog name, or something else. Just let me know. (for now, I'll set you up with your catalog name)

I'll put your claim in the MW. We do strongly recommend that you complete the 1 minute test before you start recording for a project. It's not an audition. Archive.org (where we host the completed projects) requires our files to meet certain technical specs. It's best to confirm your set up is correct on a short test file before doing something more substantive. Instructions are here: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Mary, here is the link to my 1 minute test: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=59310

I hope I've followed the instructions correctly, as I'm excited to contribute.

Thanks Stu. If you want to create a new topic here: viewforum.php?f=21 and post your test, you may get feedback a bit faster. I'm away from my normal computer set up and won't be able to check your file until late this week.
