You're welcome :)

Will you be making the necessary changes to the MW?

Is good. I doubt I'll be able to seriously think about doing any recording before the end of the month. Pls let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Hi,

Thank you for signing up. I have renumbered all the sections. You're now doing 25 - Gatha.
Please note the introduction convention - it is a little different to the standard procedure:
START of recording (Intro)
"Section [number] of The Sikh Religion, Its Gurus, Sacred Writings and Authors Volume 3. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
Say:
"The Sikh Religion, Its Gurus, Sacred Writings and Authors Volume 3, by Max Arthur Macauliffe. [Section heading as per MW]"
For this section please don't read the footnotes.

Regards
Kim

My first two sections.

Section 15 (length: 40m59s)
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/sikhreligion3_15_macauliffe_128kb.mp3

Section6 (length: 37m24s)
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/sikhreligion3_16_macauliffe_128kb.mp3

Recording is going slower than expected - life keeps intruding! :) May take a little longer than anticipated to finish all 7 sections of Sukhmani.

Small typo on previous post - Is Sections 15 and 16 (not 6!).

Thanks Rapunzelina.

When PL-ing, it is important to note that I read Section 17 as I indicated to Kim in early March, so Section 17 ends on p271 "merits of the composition called Sukhmani." as this is the end of the formal prayer entitled Sukhmani

Consequently, Section 18 will start on p271 "Lunar Days", and end as previously identified on p296

Also, Sections 18-21 are identified in the Magic Window as "Sukhmani - Parts 3-6"; I believe these should be Parts 4-7, since Sections 15-17 would be Parts 1-3

Thank you, Pardeep! I hope I've updated the MW correctly.

I have just one PL note on your recording, only if you see fit to edit, at around 22:23, text is "Man is astonished at the wonders of creation" I think I'm hearing "God is astonished [...]"

Thanks for picking this up, Rapunzelina! Since the erroneous word changes the meaning, I have edited to line - the deity is no longer astonished :) Unfortunately, I was not able to match the tone of my voice, so there is a slight discordance at this line :(

Duration is still 38m51s
