Actually, I've been looking at this as well, but it seems very complicated. I don't have time to check, but since there are different page numbers for the text links, does that mean I have to scramble and read one text piecemeal from x pages?

Yes - it's a magazine, so the article goes from page to page, tiptoeing around the advertisements.

I had imagined splitting off each set of pages as separate PDFs and putting them on Google Docs or somewhere, so all the pages for each section would be in one file with no extra pages. I could do that for you if you want.

That's nice of you, but don't bother.

I can imagine that the project is more suitable for a new soloist than as a group project. I probably don't have time for this until the end of the year anyway (since I am reading a very long and very difficult book on legamus), and who knows what I'm up to afterwards...

Okay, so I had forgotten you were talking of doing this as a solo. I made the separate PDFs and am uploading them to Google Drive. When they're fully uploaded, they'll be here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1i4bAsxDZ7f618zMI8ZwAHoPuMgq1vDOZ?usp=sharing

It says it has 7 minutes left to fully upload.

If you choose to not finish this off, I'll open it as a group project. :) If you decide to do it, feel free to use these files. There was one article that was missing a page in the listing in the MW; I can't remember which one it was.

Oh, I'm so sorry - so much work...

I was wondering about cutting the project up.

First I thought: the 6 "my inventions" as a single project, and all the other papers in the NF collection.

Now I'm thinking: "my inventions" plus the papers written by Tesla in this project, and all the other stuff written by whomever in the NF collection.

Including only Tesla's original works here would make for a "cleaner" (if not easier) project.

What do other people think - Tricia, MaryAnn? I'm not ready to roll this out any time soon, but it would be nice to get it done eventually.

Don't apologize! It's my fault for keeping this in mind but forgetting your plans for it. LOL!

I like either option. I had wondered about removing the non-Tesla-authored articles, but the original soloist had already recorded one. But you could shuffle that off to a nonfiction collection (or maybe a Coffee Break Collection if it fits the theme), as long as the intro/outro audio works OK for where it goes.

Of course, they all don't HAVE to be recorded, anyway. It's not like it's one book that needs all the sections to be finished. So you could choose not to do anything with the last two sections, or even the articles that aren't "My Inventions".

Bottom line: totally your choice!

(I do notice that "endeavors" is spelled wrong in section 3, but don't see a text link for that article to verify how it was spelled. I'll explore later when I'm on the computer where I kept the original PDFs.)

Fixed section 3's title.

FYI, Hugo Gernsback died in 1967. Haven't found anything about Easterling yet.

Oh my! This certainly doesn't look like it should be on the abandoned list. I am glad to see there is interest in it. I did enjoy PLing.

I'll let you all figure things out with it. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. I can BC +/or DPL.

I'll try to figure things out in the next month or so.

Now that Tricia was so kind as to produce google docs, it is probably okay as a group project, but I'm still considering leaving only Tesla's own work.

I'll keep you posted, okay?
