Section 3 PL OK Marked so in MW

And I got it all into the MW correctly (I think), although getting the readers name in was a hard job for my little laptop!

Just a note. I was listening to my MS. Found in a Bottle in my store when I realised I'd excessively muted the deliberately ludicrous and melodramatic ending to blend with the rest of the script; so I just offer this version which simply has the last thirty seconds (before the post script) bumped up two points in volume. I think the effect is as intended in the original; but obviously I leave it to you. I thought it was worth offering you the choice though so here it is; there are no other changes made to the file at all.

Length: 45:50

Sincerely,
Tony Addison.

Michele, can you have a listen?
If you agree, we will replace the file.

Max here, Bart, (I'm assuming the 'Michelle' post was meant for me?)
I think the new one is much more exciting, adds to the buildup of excitement that I'm sure the author intended. IMO makes better listening,
Max :)

Good. That's what I thought. I was a bit cautious there. (It can happen.) It is now in your capable (not my culpable) hands.

Thank you.

Hi, my favourite old horror story is The Monkey's Paw by WW Jacobs, and have recorded it. It is by far my longest recording of 23:50 seconds. I hope I can just drop the link here!
Title: The Monkey's Paw
Author: WW Jacobs
Link to Text: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/12122/12122-h/12122-h.htm
Link to Audio: https://librivox.org/uploads/bart/ghohor028_monekyspaw_wwjacobs_dm_128kb.mp3

Is there anything else I must do now or is that it? thanks.

PS. I have also noticed in the other collections, this story appears in some of them, and I was wondering if you do duplicates on these collections. Thanks!

Section 4 PL Notes
The required ending is missing

End of recording
At the end of the section, say:
“End of [Story Title]"

If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"

Please leave 5 seconds silence at the end of your recording, or 10 seconds for files longer than 30 minutes!

Max :)

Bart,
I entered Section 5 into the MW, but noticed on the Gutenberg page that this story is...
TRANSLATED FROM THE CHINESE BY
GEORGE SOULIÉ
OF THE FRENCH CONSULAR SERVICE IN CHINA
and I'm not sure if this needs to be stated in the recording, so I haven't marked it PL OK yet.

Max :)
