Chapter 26 needs one edit.

I have kept the authors material relatively neutral but for the quotes from Lincoln and Douglas, have tried to speak with a degree of inflection and energy. If this works and is acceptable, great. If you prefer something else entirely, please tell me.

Great! I'm sure it will be fine, but I will listen to it a little later today, thank you! Do you have a time duration for your recording? I need it to make sure I have the whole file, sometimes the internet will eat something coming in.

Hi Ann,
Do I read all citations, etc. within the chapter? Also, do I read the footnotes as they come up in the paragraph, or wait until the end of the paragraph to read them? Thanks for your help!

You don't need to read any of the footnotes or citations. But, I do leave it up to you, if you feel that a footnote is very important and will add to the narrative, go ahead and read it, and let me know that you have read it.

i would like to read Chapter XVIII - The Cabinet Cabal.

is this the correct way to claim it? i did not see any obvious buttons on the magic window there....

please let me know. yes, my first recording with librivox. yes, i will read the notes and how-tos.
yes i have recorded before.

Welcome to LibriVox! Yes, this is the correct way to claim sections, and I have you down for chapter 18, thank you! And, since you have answered any and all questions that I might have, the only thing you need to do is to submit your one minute test! Once that is done, and is OK'ed, then you are free to record! Have fun!

It is completely up to you. I have put you down for both, but if you don't want to do both just let me know and I will take you off whichever one you don't want. Don't worry about being greedy with my projects, first come first served is how I feel about claiming sections! I will check chapter 26 in a little bit, thank you!
