Jessie,

I would use whatever chapters he has submitted which are "good".

I see two chapters (3 and 4) have PL comments. Each chapter has a line which Larry left out of his reading. Otherwise, those chapters are fine (the repeats can be cut out during editing). I would try to save those chapters by having the new narrator read the two missing lines.

Chapter 5 needs to be added to the MW and PL'd.

The new narrator can start "full time" with Chapter 8.

I've PL'd the narator for chapter 5 and noted the following;

(12:11), Paragraph missing on page 4, as follows;
Johanna scarcely condescended to glance at him; but, drawing her mantle close around her, which he actually had the impertinence to endeavour to lay hold of, she walked on, so that the reverend gentleman was left to make the best he could of the matter.

(12:17), I heard 'she said', text reads in bold on page 5;
'Stop!' he cried, 'stop! I can well perceive that the devil has a strong hold of you: I can well

The recording of Tobias : Ch. 17 turned out to be Ch. 21 - going to fix that!

I found a couple of issues in the text whilst recording this that I wanted to flag:

On page 1 of the script, in the paragraph that starts with "Of course, said Fogg" the narrator is supposed to say "continued Fogg" however its been coloured in blue as a line for Mr Fogg to say. I believe that is an error so have left it out of my recording.

On page 4 of the script, in the line that starts with "Ah! said I" the line says "tell me where Jam to see you" - I assume this is a typo so have recorded it as "tell me where I am to see you".

I hope thats all ok - Please let me know if there are any issues.

Tobias Ragg, Chapter 27, that's the PL bit done, the 'checker' program threw up a caution about the capitalisation in the file name does this matter?

Everything else about the recording was good.

Brian,
Since these are "parts" files, the capitalization will not be an issue as long as you could download and play the file. If this was the "final" edited file that was going to be cataloged, then it would need to be fixed - either by the reader or by the MC behind the scenes - before the project was cataloged.

I was also hoping someone could tell me what the PL Notes for Chapter 21 for Tobias were? I'm having a hard time trying to find them...

Thanks for pointing out a lack of comments on chapter 21, I've done a PL on chapter 21 again as well as the new chapter 28. The checker program has warned about the volumes so I've adjusted them with audacity and uploaded a duplicate for the final editor to choose between.
