Hey Phil,

Lisa here from sunny California...

I believe the instructions are to request a section and then record.

That's what I did only to discover someone else had recorded what I

did. Oh well no biggie, I'll post it in Short Stories or some other place.

So... where can I put Brabo and the Giant? It's my first story and it isn't bad.

I'd like to have it out as my nephews are waiting to listen to me.

Would you mind telling me what I should do?

Also...

Phil, I told Ruthie already, but I have 3 login names.

Lisa Rubio
The Librifox
Lisareadsit

Can this be a problem? I've got several computers and each one wants to

log in with one of the different names. I'm ok with it...just as long as the

world sees Lisa Rubio.

Thanks so much,
Lisa

Oh dear. I am very sorry for any misunderstandings here, I had no idea you had three different forum names. May I suggest putting Bobo into this project? viewtopic.php?f=19&t=57520. Again Lisa, please understand that we have many people who claim sections and then are never heard from again.

Here is Section 4: The cat and the cradle. Recording time: 13:31 min.

https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/dutchfairytalesforyoungfolks_04_griffis_128kb.mp3

This is by far the longest recording I have ever done so far (I mostly read poetry). I hope it is up to your standards. :)

Hi,

I saw your cry for help. :) I can read the last story. I don't know Dutch, but being a Luxembourger I can do the sounds. :D Please let me know until tomorrow, so I could read it tomorrow evening, as that's the last day I'm free this week.

Thanks, Sandra

That would be great Sandra; being a Luxembourger you probably know lots and lots of different sounds, eh?. And thank you very much. I will be interested in knowing how they sound. :D

Hi Phil,

here as promised the Dutch tale of the woman with the 366 children. Recording time: 19:44 min.

https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/dutchfairytalesforyoungfolks_10_griffis_128kb.mp3

I did my best to make the names sound as accurate as possible. If you want to hear them, they start at 10:00 and go till almost 11:00 min.

Good night :)

No problem.

Having done these three stories in fairly quick succession, and still being fairly new to recording, I've noticed a big difference in the quality between Section 3 - THE PRINCESS WITH TWENTY PETTICOATS, the first I uploaded, to Section 20, my third. I re-recorded section 3, and have up'ed the quality to personally satisfactory levels. Is it too late to upload this new recording and post it here, to have it replace the current recording in the magic window?

Which one do you want to replace? section 3 or section 20? In either case, if it has been PLed, it will need to be PLed again, and I think our DPL would be wiling to do that. remember to name the file the exact same as the one you wish to replace and just make a note of what you have done in this project thread so we all know what is going on.
