I read the reference to other verses as 'Jeremiah chapter 25 verse 22', and when he quoted from Genesis in the text, I started by saying "verses x to y", and then did not read the verse numbers as I read through the text. I thought adding the "verses x to y" at the beginning of that quote would indicate to a reader that this was the next bit of Genesis text that Henry was going to comment on. Easy to see that in print, but maybe difficult to hear when listening.

I will add you to the catalog!

I think that sounds right. Read the roman numerals as numbers. Yes the numbering note is referring to the text. And no, you don't need to read each verse number as it comes along.

Hi - section 13 (chapter 10) uploaded:

Short chapter, but lots of tricky names. I'm licking my wounds a bit.

Hello,
I am familiar with Matthew Henry's works and I would like to record a few chapters. I would like to start out with chapter 19. This will be my first librivox project. So at first I want to commit to only one chapter and if that works well do more chapters. I will record with a Zoom H2 digital recorder. Some previous reading experience comes from Bible reading marathons, Bible readings at National Day of Prayer or reading the epistles of John for a youtube project (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_tw8j-gt__ypeG55juV27oTL5b9UszS0 ).
Please let me know if I should submit any materials. Thanks.

Hello, and welcome to Librivox! I will assign chapter 19 to you!

First it is highly recommended to complete the 1-Minute test just to make sure all the technical stuff is how it is supposed to be here.

Also how would you like to credited in the catalog?

Section 6 is PL OK.

As Silverquill has not been around for about a month I will catch up on PLing, though it will probably take a few days :)

I just uploaded the 1-minute test file. This is the link: https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_solidrockfaith.mp3 As far as being credited, just mention my name, Ingo Breuer, and maybe my website at http://www.solidrockfaith.com

Thank you! I will add you to the catalog. You will have to post your test in 'Listeners and Editors wanted' and someone there will let you know if anything needs to be changed :D
