Thanks for letting me know! It has been to long since I checked on this project!

ljmblunk, my apologies for the delay, I missed your post, I will sign you up for section 10.

Tiffany,

I am reading another commentary on the life of Joseph and it would be interesting to compare that to Matthew Henry. Can you put me in for 5 sections starting with chapter 37? I may take more if they are still open when I finish these.

Regards,

for some reason sections 39-41 won't show that they are assigned to you, so I will try again tomorrow and see if it works then....

OK I got it, I must have been really tired last night, the problem was just me getting sections and chapters mixed up, but I think I have you on the right chapters now!

I'd like to contribute to this - I've no particular preference so would chapter 8 make sense?

Rockbadger - fiddlesticks is our book coordinator (BC) and will respond to your post, but if I may comment as a fellow reader. This is not the easiest material to read . . . so if you are just starting out, you might want to start with a shorter chapter - like Chapter 10 - just to get a feel for it.

Happy to go with whatever's suggested.

For what it's worth, I'm quite used to this sort of thing (from preaching, reading old theology, recording bible books etc.) but it may well still be prudent to go for something a touch smaller.

Don't mind at all :)

Thanks.

'Paul Huxley' for credit.

I'm looking at the numbering note so I know what I'm doing. I assume that's referring to the various sections within the text.

Where Henry refers to other Bible verses, I assume we'd just say 'Jeremiah 25 verse 22' (for example) rather than 'Jer x x v 22'? And I also assume that we wouldn't read the verse numbers in the Bible text as we go.
