Sorry for the delay in submitting my parts but real life took over for a while. I am off work for half term so will be catching up with recording. Thanks
Michele

Mary,
Here you have the old man, the priest and the drunk workman.
I hope they are ok. I imitated the topical Russian accent. If there is anything to modify, let me know.

What's happening with PL? My readings were uploaded on 18th April and have still not been checked.

Cheers

All the parts awaiting PL are minor parts with nothing substantial worth opening all the files for.
You can PL them yourself in the meanwhile if you want.

Kim,
Since you don’t mind someone else PLing for Algy I thought I would step up.

Algy, all are PL OK.

Section 1 Raskolnikovs father Chapter 5
In the opening you said for chapter 6 but the lines are indeed chapter 5 so PL OK.

Section 39 Coachman Chapter 14
PL OK. I enjoyed this part. :)

Section 49 Priest 2 Chapter 32
This is listed as chapter 31 in the MW but the there are no Priest lines in that chapter. They are found in chapter 32.
PL OK.

Thanks Linny

Kim, I am a little puzzled by your comment. Does this mean that short readings simply don't get PLed at all?

I can PL them to check, but don't have access to the MW to change status.

Thank you for stepping up, Linny. All minor parts do need to be PLed. Kim, if you are not comfortable doing it, I and other volunteers can. RecordingPerson, if you still want to, just let me know which ones. :)

Thanks again to all for your help.

Kim, I ran everything through MP3Gain and have indicated after the chapter number any recommended track gain changes based on 89.0dB.

Mary, I wasn’t certain your level of PL for English pronunciation so there is one section I noted. No offense desired and please feel free to disregard.

Section 0 Peasant 2 – Ch 5 – PL OK. Nice catch on the line that had a different color code.
Section 2 Old man – Ch 5 (-1.5) - PL OK.
Section 4 Peasant 6 - Ch 5 - PL OK
Section 5 Huckster - Ch 5 (+3) – PL OK
Section 6 A young officer – Ch 6 (-4.5) – PL OK
Section 7 Koch – Ch 7 (-1.5) – PL OK
Section 8 Neighbor to Alyona Ivanovna – Ch 7 (-1.5) – PL OK
Section 9 Messenger – Ch 10 – PL OK
Section 30 Duclinda – Ch 13 (-1.5) – PL OK
Section 32 Tipsy peasant – Ch 13 – Well done! PL OK but missing voice credit.
Section 44 Priest – Ch 14 (-3) – PL OK
Section 45 Warder – Ch 26 – PL OK
Section 47 Commissariat Clerk – Ch 28 – PL OK
Section 48 Policeman 3 – Ch 31 (-1.5) – PL OK
Section 51 Innkeeper 2 – Ch 37 (+7.5) – PL OK
Section 52 A child – Ch 37 (-1.5) – PL OK
Section 53 A soldier – Ch 37 – PL OK
Section 54 A youth – Ch 39 (-3) – PL OK
Section 55 A drunk workman – Ch 39 – Standard PL OK
Pronunciation corrections if desired: Drunk workman: "He's going to Jerusalem, brothers, and saying good-bye to his children and his country. He's bowing down to all the world and kissing the great city of St. Petersburg and its pavement,"
