Oh dear, Carolin. Concerning file 8: We're not supposed to correct pronunciation, but I'm afraid you'll be embarrassed and wonder why I didn't say something if you learn from someone else that the word "chapel" is pronounced with a short "a" as in cat. Here's a dictionary entry with audio: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/chapel I think you'll want to fix that in the title and last line.

I'm going to listen once more to the remaining three files before pronouncing them PL OK for certain.

These first two notes are for only if you are a perfectionist. They fall well outside the parameters for standard proof listening. The third is a kind of a big deal, though.

1) In file 15, the correct pronunciation of "banquet" at 0:46, ninth line of the first stanza, is "bang kwit" http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/banquet . Few are likely to notice, though.

2) I went to the text to make sure it was the word "banquet" in file 15 and just happened to look at the text of F.A.F (File 10) and noticed that you read "softly" instead of "slowly" at 0:47 at the beginning of the tenth line.

3) Continuing to follow the text for file 11, at 1:31 the entire fifth line of the second stanza, "When every sleepy bird has sought its nest;" is missing.

You've managed beautifully, Carolin, to bring another spring of refreshment for our spirits bubbling forth.

File 11 is PL OK, so this project can be catalogued. :)
