I'm working on the MARKED PL OK file - Gideon Narrator. I'll upload an edited version shortly. Checker doesn't note a problem with the clipping.
PL notes
Good accurate clear speech! Just some little things:
- at the beginning "section 10" - I hear 2
- 1.33 - "Midianites" - I hear Midians.
- 8.13 - I'm not sure about this so please check with Bria. After "sent messengers throughout all Mt Ephraim saying ..." - you've left a silence here but the text indicates that the narrator speaks the words that follow. Could be a mistake in the text?
-10.18 - 10.31 - you need to cut this section as you then immediately repeated it and the second version is best

OK, well thanks, Kim. I just wasn't sure what to do with this The clipping shows up in Audacity, but I think it stands up well enough to use. I appreciate your efforts.

Several of the other sections were also out of volume range, but that was an easy fix.
The Gideon file obviously had not been PL'd at all. There were numerous mike bumps and clicks, stumbles and pauses throughout -- just poorly read. I did the best I could with that, so I hope the final result is at least passable. Let me know if there is anything I need to change. Not really complaining, just letting you know FWIW. I did enjoy doing this.
