Hi Roohi,
Now that you have MW access would you mind putting future files in the MW? It would help me out a great deal.
Thank you.

Chapter 17 is PL ok!

Chapter 18
There is a snap and some noise in your opening silence.
5:03 A very slight stumble on "expected". This is an optional fix.
There is noise in your ending silence.

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you had used the MW before. Just post them in the thread for now and I'll find instructions for you for later.

I found some instructions posted in another project but as I said go ahead and post your links in the thread like normal until you have time to try it out. I don't want to hold up being able to pl for you.

Instructions for BCs and DPLs

A version of the above is also in the LibriVox wiki in case you can't access Google Docs for some reason.

BCs - How to Update the Magic Window.
I hope this helps.

Ok thanks.
I agree with your plan because I will need to practice the BC bit a little

Sorry Roohi, I didn't realize that you had not BC'd before ... you were already in the drop down menu as a BC, when I have to add someone, that's usually my first clue that someone needs instructions. When they are already there, I generally figure they have already been in the MW on another project.

Jo's post has all the relevant instruction links. If you have any trouble accessing the MW, please let me know.

Once you're in, it's pretty easy. Paste the link from the uploader in the "listen url" column. Time (mm:ss) goes in the "notes" column. And then just change the status from "assigned" to "ready for PL".

Roohi,
Did you remember to noise clean the entire track? There are portions which seem to have more background noise than other areas.

0:08 there is an awkward pause during the disclaimer. When you reduce the pause there will be a repeat on "in" during "in the public domain"
1:05-1:10 I'm picking up some movement. After you noise clean this may be minor enough that you won't have to re-record.
3:10 a little more movement
10:55 long pause mid sentence "occupied the workmen [3 second pause] and their families.
11:44 slight stumble which can probably be edited "per, perty face"
15:13 background noise/ding: on and just after "son": for she liked him far better than she did his son.
16:43 with a pained expression on her fair face
Read as gained
19:26 p186 missing text: "when you come down"
26:26 noise in pause before "end of chapter 19"

2:11-2:56 volume is lower / muffled here. This type of transition takes place a number of times. Take a listen at 4:15-4:20, there are 3 different levels. If you are able to determine why this happens it would be nice to be able to be more consistent. This isn't standard PL so no changes are necessary. I only wanted to point it out to you.

Hi Roohi,
I'm sorry but you missed one of the corrections.

Other than that it's great. You do a very nice job of matching your edits.
