Hi ncline and a big welcome to LibriVox! :D I have assigned section 10 to you but before you record it, please make and upload a 1 minute test to be sure your recording set up is OK. Instructions can be found in our Wiki and in the first post of this project but Here is a video that may help too: How to Make your 1 minute test.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlaRY_-bcfs and then How to Upload your 1 minute test How to Upload your 1 minute test

I also recommend Getting To Know our Forums Getting To Know Our Forums

We just want to check out your technical specs. Don't forget to post the link either in this thread or in Listeners WAnted forum.

And how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us use our real name but it is up to you.
Welcome again and remember to ask lots of questions. :D

Your voice is wonderful and the volume it perfect but you need to change two things:
1. Make it mono (it is currently stereo)
2. Change the bit rate to 128 kbs (it is currently 160)

Please do this and submitt another test called test_ncline2 or something like that.

Also, do you want your catalog name to be your whole name or just a part of it like Nancee Cline or someothing? :D

Yes you may and welcome to LibriVox. I am glad you know about the test.
How would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us user our real names but it is up to you.
EDIT: This is a very long recording to take for your first one; do you feel confident? Most people start with shorter ones, like a poem, to get the feel of editing but it is up to you of course. We will help as much as possible.
