Hi ncline and a big welcome to LibriVox! I have assigned section 10 to you but before you record it, please make and upload a 1 minute test to be sure your recording set up is OK. Instructions can be found in our Wiki and in the first post of this project but Here is a video that may help too: How to Make your 1 minute test.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlaRY_-bcfs and then How to Upload your 1 minute test How to Upload your 1 minute testphilchenevert wrote:ncline wrote:may I read section 10?

1. Make it mono (it is currently stereo)
2. Change the bit rate to 128 kbs (it is currently 160)
Please do this and submitt another test called test_ncline2 or something like that.
Also, do you want your catalog name to be your whole name or just a part of it like Nancee Cline or someothing?

Yes you may and welcome to LibriVox. I am glad you know about the test.Randlm wrote:May I have #30? I will post my 1-minute test this evening.

EDIT: This is a very long recording to take for your first one; do you feel confident? Most people start with shorter ones, like a poem, to get the feel of editing but it is up to you of course. We will help as much as possible.
