Thanks, Jemma. Unfortunately this collection is now full :(, but I will make your recording first reserve in case anyone drops out. Sorry to disappoint.

Thank you, Maria and MaryAnn. The anniversary collections are always eclectic and marvellous, I think. This will probably be the last "numbers" one - I have only found a couple of dozen items for 11 and 12, so I think we may have to think of another format in future years.

I am struggling with my last section - I seem to have a bit of reader's block again :(. It will be done soon by hook or by crook, though.

MaryAnn, in Eleanor Clare's Journal Part 2 there are a couple of tiny things, but in a 70 minute recording, I honestly don't think they merit changing unless you really wish to, so I have marked it PL OK.

16:30 Idle specula... I read this as Eleanor breaking off from writing when interrupted and that the word is 'speculation'
32:26 text is 'filch' (steal) and I hear 'flinch'

Ruth,

On the first one, I was reading from the PDF, and it did not finish the word, so I didn't finish the word . . .
I feel very dull to-day, and cannot help
harassing myself with idle specula. . .
And if that just leaves one misplaced "l" messing up a word meaning, then why don't we let that go. We've hit the 99% accuracy of meaning mark at any rate.

Thanks for listening!

I love having the anniversary collection with the numbers in the title. I think it's interesting and fun to find so many different subjects and types of works. It would be fine with me not to have a specific goal for the number of recordings. Just however many recordings with number 11 (or whatever) in the title by a specific date in time for the anniversary.
