time for another chapter for Cousin Sophia...I know it's horrible, but when she dolefully said "there is only God left now", I had to laugh and had to re-do the whole sentence twice before I got the necessary gravity into it

I hope it doesn't shine through the final version.

All the chapters so far are PL OK - very nice readings! Even the one you said you laughed during it, I couldn't tell!

Just watch how close you get to the microphone at times, you're getting a bit of breath sound occasionally on the plosives. It's not a big deal, but it's also fairly easy to avoid if you're aware of it. It's just a matter of moving back a fraction, or angling your mouth/microphone so that no air (only the sound) actually hits the mic.

Thanks Dillon! I got Ch 4 to work and Chapters 4, 6, 16 and 35 are all PL OK!

Lovely reading, very expressive and I think the accent makes the phone scene when he asks "Do you know who this is?" work really well!

There is just one line missing from the speech in Chapter 11:

It's been rotten lately, since I've been able to walk without limping.

If you could insert that line, re-export and reupload using the same filename for chapter 11 then my MW link will still work!

While you are recording, you might like to consider taking a part in the "Five Children and It" project, which is the purple link in my signature - I'm looking for a distinctive male voice for the "Cook's Cousin" (who ends up marrying Martha at the end.) It's a single chapter part, so if you have the time, please consider!
