My other one (#12, the lighthouse lamp) is draft-recorded, but I need a break before I edit it. You'll get it by the end of the weekend, definitely!

I would like to record Tula Oola - #4. This is my first recording but my one minute test has been marked OK so I think I'm ready to go!

hi skelly, welcome to librivox!

you are welcome to take part in this project. to be able to assign you those sections, you need to let me know under which name or pseudonym you would like to appear in the catalog. we can also link to your personal website or blog.

before getting started on any recording for this project, please complete the one minute test, post it in listeners wanted, and wait until someone checked it and you got the OK on it. this is not an audition, but concerns the necessary technical settings for our recordings.

thanks!

Sorry I was slower than I said I'd be - the weekend ended up with me purchasing a large inanimate object. :)

Hi, Carolin,
May I please have Sections 0 and 5 (Prefatory Note and the NS Bicycle)?

...so, did section 4 get assigned yet to either of the two readers who thought they would like to try? I'm still seeing it in the Magic Window as being open.

Cheers,
Jenny

thank you for claiming, jenny!

the reader who had claimed section 4 first never got back to me - we get quite a few newbies who only post a claim and then never come online again. i stop holding sections for such readers after a few days. but the other reader hasnt gotten back to me either, so i also wont assign it to her for now.

so basically, section 4 is open.
