Notes on section 8:
Great Reading!!
Things that should probably be fixed:

at about 9:45 "He says...." is double read.
at about 14:11 hiccup in "to which the moderns"

Nitpics for the perfectionists:
at about 10:15 "put into them" is read as "put in them"
at about 11:30 "among the ores of silver" is read as "among ores of silver"
at about 12:55 "known to the ancients" is read as "known to ancients"
at about 13:59 "to which we at present" is read as "to which at present"
at about 17:49 "1/4" is read as "1/2"
at about 19:05 "medical " is read as "medicinal"

Hello,
here are sections 12,13 and 14.
For some reason I was unable to save the data for section 14 though the completed mp3 file seems ok to me - I hope it is ok, otherwise I will have to re-record this section ( it said disc might be full, but even after clearing out stuff it still would not save).

https://librivox.org/uploads/availle/historyofchemistry_12_thomson_128kb.mp3 duration 23minutes 57 seconds

https://librivox.org/uploads/availle/historyofchemistry_13_thomson_128kb.mp3 duration 33minutes, 29.5seconds

https://librivox.org/uploads/availle/historyofchemistry_14_thomson_128kb.mp3 duration 19 minutes 19 seconds.

May I ask what data you mean? If it's the author and book info for the mps3, it's okay as it's done when the book is completed now.

The data I meant was the Audacity file. Converted ok to mp3 format but I could not save the original so will be unable to make any corrections to my recording of section 14.

You can open mp3 files in Audacity and do your edits. You uploaded your section to the librivox server and posted the link. You can download the same, too, if you don't have the mp3 file locally.

Notes on section 13:
at about 23:01 "negligence" is read as "intelligence", which makes it sound quite humorous.
