Grazie!

Hello! Here is the link to section 7 ("Piangete amanti"). Let me know if I've got everything correct, or if there are some adjustments to be made with the technical settings? Thanks!
Time: 1:09

(Also, a quick question: when I go through and do the Noise Reduction function on Audacity, it gives the entire track a sort of hollow tinny sound. I don;t know if that's just on my computer and it will play fine once uploaded, but the decrease in sound quality is noticeable, so I just wanted to check if I'm doing something wrong there. I was advised after my 1-minute test to use the Noise Reduction function. Thanks!)

Grazie, Patrick! The reading sounds great! My only note is that the volume is a bit low, and I wonder if that's because of the noise cleaning problem you're describing. That tinny sound is frequently the result of over-cleaning. What settings are you using when you noise clean? And are you selecting a small section of silence from the end to get the noise profile first?

Hi! To do the cleaning, I followed these instructions, given to me in response to my 1-minute test:
"On Audacity, you select a part of the test where you are not talking, go to Effects|Noise Removal and then click on 'Get Noise Profile'. Then you select the whole track, go to Effects|Noise Removal and this time click OK."
Is there a way to lessen the amount of noise cleaning that does to the track? For now, I have reuploaded the link below with the volume turned up a bit--hopefully it's at a better level!
