I also think it's a mistake to omit the authorship. This genome sequence is part of the article, or so it seems to me. Anyway, that's my two cents in the FWIW category.
I know about the buzz, can't do anything about that other than getting a whole new setup. Sorry. I have done as much noise cleaning as I can without making me sound like tinman.
I've asked my more knowledgeable colleagues in the back about copyright before recording this and they assured me that you cannot place a copyright on a genome sequence. It has something to do with the fact that it is "discovered" rather than "invented"...
That's the reason why I left out the authors as well; I did not read the whole paper and they have not "written" the genome sequence in the first place.
Cheers, Ava.

For some reason I am unable to download this file, either from the MW or the thread. I get a "Faile - No file" error message.
Good thought about brainstorming!! Your idea is great, though we already have one on love and relationships....perhaps we could focus on just the birth and death part? Or rites of passage?
Here's what we have thus far, and below I have some ideas:
1. Humor
2. Faith
3. Nature
4. Hodge Podge (anything goes)
5. Love and Relationships
6. Food and Drink
7. Travel
8. Animals
9. Autumn
10. War and Conflict
11. Science
Some themes not touched upon: Beauty & Cosmetics, Music, Theatre & Arts, Sports & Athleticism, Birth & Death, Coming of Age, Children's Works, Medicine, Inventions, Famous Firsts.
Don't want to hijack the project thread, but I think it is important to think about what has the widest general appeal. What are people actually likely to download and listen to? I think the top three would be: Humor, Children's Stories and Faith. Animals and Nature would also rank high. There is a Sport themed collection in production right now.
Hi Larry, All great thoughts! Humor, faith, animals, and nature were on the list of coffee break collections that were already done (I was just posting for inspiration and to see the general nature of the themes.) Glad to hear there's a sports collection in the works! I'll probably be doing music or theatre since it's about time for some arts among these sciences!
