Hi and welcome to LibiVox. Since you seem to k now about doing your 1 minute sample I won't give the usual video how-to links. Let me know how it is going and you are definitely assigned book III. ! How would you like to be credited in the catalog? what name? most of us use our realnames but it is up to you. Image

ask lots of questions, we are a friendly bunch here.

Thanks for the quick response. I would like to be credited as C.A. Belzil. I've posted my one minute test to the appropriate forum:

Yes you may Lynne. An excellent choice. And please let me know if the link to the text works or is confusing.

I will take section 3.

I'm new so I'll need to pass along my one-minute test once it's ready.

The uploader isn't accepting my mp3 file (I've tried with Chrome and with Explorer) and I don't know why.

When I try to upload, every time it says:

undefined Error The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed.

But I'm trying to upload an mp3. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Hi Jottens and welcome to LibriVox and this project. I will note your claim for section 3 but as you said, please wait for your OK before recording. If you have any questions please ask. And how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? Most of us use our real names but it is up to you.

I recommend the amazing video Getting To Know Our Forums to explain some of our jargon and stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnxpcbnEjoQ&feature=youtu.be Yeah, I made it and it's not so amazing!

EDIT: Jottens, note that section 3 is Book I, Chapter 3 only. You can have more but that is the section.

Hmmm. Don't know. It should accept it. Here is another cult video on uploading that may help (or confuse take your pick). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oTSlFSoEeY&feature=youtu.be

Let me know if it still doesn't work.
