And it's PL OK. Dora was a good egg in the end.

Hi Barbara and Ann,

Just letting you know, I'm having trouble with my cable internet connection at the moment. I'm still recording, but I won't be able to upload until Wednesday at least. That's presuming that everything will go well when the Telstra technician visits me then. Thanks for your patience.

Cheers, Kirsty

And it's PL OK. Still betting that Ernest is the narrator's son....

Still having internet problems? Let's know your plans so I can decide what's best to do . I'd love you to finish this yourself but if that isn't possible I'd like to be able to get it in the catalogue somehow ?

Hi Anne,

I added one more section, "L'envoi" that would not be read.

Hi Lucas,

I was going to volunteer for chapter 29, but looking at the thread, it seems like I should just pick up where the previous narrator left off?

By that I mean Chapter 28, of course. :hmm:

Okay, great, I'll actually go with chapter 29 first then, since it's much shorter than 28, just to get my feet wet. I know that Barbara said she's still on as the DPL. Barbara, your location says Australia, does that mean you'll be able to help me with pronunciation on some of the terms, I'm an incredibly midwestern american so it's likely to sound not nearly as good as the previous narrator, but I still don't want to butcher things too badly.

Great!!
Please read the first post of this thread carefully.

As this is your first recording, I need to know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal web site/blog.
