I've just uploaded my last section - on Lincoln - https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/herotales_26_lodge_128kb.mp3

Would appreciate if someone could PL it for me.

Thanks.

MaryAnn I listened to section 26. At :53 seconds -- Oh heart, Heart, left out (You) leave not the little ---
At 13:01 -- added (No) to less occasion. The only reason I even mention it is that one is a famous poem and the other is a world famous address and perhaps both should be word perfect. Other then those two places it was faultless and beautifully read.

Would you please check out sections 6 and 7 they have been read but not PL'd.

Thank You,
Mike

Mike,

Thank you. As famous as both those bits are, they should be right.

And sorry about your sections . . . I thought I was caught up on my PLing, but I see that I didn't get the status changed on these so they were not showing up on my PL list.

Mike,
Sections 6 and 7 are PL OK.

I've corrected section 26 - would you mind checking it for me?

I've recorded the entire poem again - beginning at 0.26. The text says:
My captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still;
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor win:
I've read "win" as "will". That's how it is in other sources and I think it's a typo here.

The second correction is now at 13.03.

Thank you.

I envy your ability to bring a poem to life. Section 26 is PL OK.

Bill,
Section 16 is PL OK. That was an interesting bit of history that I didn't know much about!

Rick,

Sections 22-25 are PL OK.

So that is where "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" came from!

Howdy from Texas!

Here's

8 - Gouverneur Morris

My civics teacher, also a history teacher, would often mention "Gouvey"; he wrote his thesis on Mr. Morris.
